Accessibility Statement for ReNests
Last updated: June 1, 2026
ReNests is committed to making our website, enrollment app, and corporate housing services accessible to every guest — including those who use assistive technology to browse the web.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and adopted by most U.S. state and federal agencies.
What we've done
• Built the enrollment app from the ground up with keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels, and color choices that meet WCAG contrast requirements
• Run the Wix Accessibility Wizard against our marketing site and addressed automatically detected issues
• Use semantic headings and form labels so screen readers announce content in the right order
• Avoid relying on color alone to convey meaning — status indicators include text and icons
• Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
• Test at 200% browser zoom to ensure content remains readable and usable
What we're still working on
Accessibility is ongoing. We are actively reviewing:
• Background-image text contrast on photo-heavy sections
• Alt-text quality on all decorative and meaningful images
• Pause / stop controls on any auto-playing media
• Color contrast on hover and focus states across the site
If you hit a barrier
We want to hear from you. If any part of our website, enrollment app, or services is hard to use because of a disability or assistive-technology issue, please contact us:
Email: contact@re-nests.com
Subject line: "Accessibility — [brief description of issue]"
We aim to respond within 2 business days. If we can't fix the issue immediately, we'll work with you to provide the information or complete the transaction another way (phone, email, video call — whatever works).
Formal complaints
If you believe we have not adequately addressed an accessibility concern, you may also file a complaint with:
• U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division — https://www.ada.gov/file-a-complaint/
• Wisconsin Equal Rights Division (for Wisconsin residents) — https://dwd.wisconsin.gov/er/civil_rights/
Third-party content
Some content on our site is provided by third-party services (payment processors, background-check portals, scheduling tools). We do our best to choose vendors who meet accessibility standards but cannot guarantee third-party content is fully WCAG-compliant. Contact us if you encounter an accessibility issue on a partner platform and we'll help connect you with the right people.
This statement is updated as our accessibility efforts evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent review.
